studio lofting

I would love to start with this space..

1. MY WALLS!

2. the beams (a bit darker please?)

3. flooring (this would have to be espresso or a fun whitewash….)

a BUNCH of these scattered on the bed would make me smile a whole lot… (Ankasa)

 

A rug of Roses…  (if you look VERY close, or purchase it……….you’ll see this choco brown lovely is made from thousands of little fabric roses!)

Lighting that is perfect… (pottery barn)

blank slates

lately I have found myself dreaming of a blank slate…

I love the windows in this space, and think it has so much potential. dont you think?

I would love to see……
1. Ralph Lauren Paint in Black Truffles (Dramatic, I know…but white seems so bland on these giant walls)
2. Roman Shades in White with Truffle Borders
3. Reclaimed flooring rather than the one in there now……….so stark
5. Punches of Dark Coral…maybe on printed chairs
6. Lots of metallic sparkle in extra tall vases (see ZGallerie previous post)
7. Lots of Suede Flower Poofs – this space would be a fun studio, hang out

I looooooooooooooove the contrast (above & below) in the wood beams and the fresh white.

this is not me, but I like some elements

1. the wall (I am loving exposed brick at the moment..)
2. the stainless, but it’s very cold…….. so we would have to add some pretties in there…FLOWERS
3. I think trellis print curtains would soften the space and look lovely (below)
4. I don’t like the table or chairs………can someone find me new ones?

I am having some issues with this post. I read Style at Home, and they often feature the Vancouver store 18 Karat, and then I read blogs and see how ‘fabulous’ it is…………. the problem? when I visit the website, I am a little less excited…… (sorry, but maybe it’s just me?) however, I found some good finds (and also a few good pictures…I do like the store front!!!) and if you are ever in the Vancouver area (cough cough, certain someones….) then check it out and let me know!
