I am so not a “pink person” (so ignore the first photo) but what I do love about this is the deep, rich jewel tones in the flowers, and the flip flops for this outdoor dinner party.. has a cool feel

then… the dinner party below looks FUN – doesn’t it? I really love the place setting – a mix of hammered metals, antiqued knives, forks……..and then, flowers… (of course I love it!)

style is on sale!

What do I love most about the end of December? (besides Christmas, which was lovely…) is the SALES. I am sooooooooooo not a “boxing day” shopper, and I can’t understand why someone would wait hours and hours in a line……. but, when it comes to the home, I LOVE that late december means Style is on Sale… AND, you can usually find good steals on year-round pieces not just Christmas decor.

what do I love about winter? well……….. walking down the street in the city, looking at the lovely Christmas windows, and holding a delicious cup of sweet apple spice……… the problem? my non-mitten protected hands can’t handle the heat……… so, the solution? behold……..
